I graduated in May from Steeleville High School in Steeleville, IL. During my four years, I participated in several sports year round. I played four years of volleyball, earning All-Conference nominations and the team’s Offensive Award all four years. I also earned All-Tournament designation eight times during the four years. My selection to the 2014 SICA All-South Volleyball Team was one of the biggest highlights of my high school volleyball career. I joined the Chester Impact Volleyball team my senior year and got some great experience playing with, and against, some of the best players in Southern Illinois and Southwestern Missouri. I also played four years of softball, earning All-Conference honors my sophomore, junior and senior years and the team’s Offensive award my junior year. At 14, I began playing select softball out of St. Louis, which I owe the majority of my softball experience to. My sophomore year I joined the trapshooting team and as a senior, I was recognized as the top lady shooter at Rend Lake. My senior year I joined the basketball team. My team ended the season with regional and sectional plaques. I have spent this summer preparing for the coming school year by spending tremendous amounts of time with family, friends, and my dog.
